The Education Partnership is dedicated to connecting all efforts to help children of conflict have the chance to learn and rebuild their lives. Supporters like you are a key part of that effort and every action can help. Here are a few ideas for how you can show your support for these brave children and raise awareness about the need for their education.

  • An easy way to help get the word out about educating children of conflict is to use the one-click links at the bottom of our pages. You can forward a page to a friend, add a page to your Facebook profile, or bookmark a page so others can easily find it.
  • Use the tags EPCC and Education Partnership when you bookmark us to connect everyone's effort.

Send an E-Card to your friends

  • Use our E-Card to tell your network about the importance of education for children of conflict and how they can help on this site.

  • Write a post about the importance of educating children of conflict on any Internet message board, blog, or discussion group in which you are involved. Contact the Media

  • Newspaper: Submit a letter to the editor of your local newspaper about the importance of education for conflict affected children. If you’re a student, ask the editor if you could write a guest column.
  • TV and Radio: Contact your local TV or radio stations and see if they will do a public service announcement about the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict or one of our partner organization's work on the issue.

In your Neighborhood or School

  • Local Support: Ask a local official, potential funder, celebrity, or reporter to help you highlight the need to provide education to children of conflict. Help them understand why this is so important with the information in our Understanding the Issue section.
  • Educators: consider doing a lesson on education for children of conflict to let your students know what's at stake. Understanding the Issue has material to help fill in your lesson plan.
  • Students: think about writing a report about children in conflict areas. There are lots of great stories on this site that will help you with ideas.
  • Give a presentation on the topic at your next organization meeting: Just use the information from this site to start a discussion in your PTA, church group, club or other service organization.
