Darfur has been described as one of the world's worst humanitarian crises. Now, Sudan's forced closure of EPCC Partners' programs put at risk the lives of millions of men, women and children. For example, the International Rescue Committee’s aid programs in Darfur, as well as North and East Sudan provide services for over 1.75 million people who depend on them for survival.
The consequences of these forced closures affect every aspect of life for the people of Sudan, including education. Many EPCC partners are active in Sudan and there are several ways for you to support them.
You Can Take Action:
- The International Rescue Committee has started a petition to keep humanitarian aid in Darfur. Sign the IRC’s urgent petition and tell your friends, family and colleagues»
